When I pull up the Placester map of the search results of the greater Phoenix area (in Arizona, USA), the map is grossly inaccurate. The map is missing A LOT of listings and many areas show no listings at all. The map only shows approximately 62 listings, when there are more like 20,000 to 40,000 listings here in Phoenix. I realize that representing them ALL is not very feasible (because the entire map would be spotted and covered, not to mention possible performance issues). But nonetheless, the Placester map severely underrepresents the amount of listings present. Furthermore, a lot of areas do not show listings at all (Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Glendale, etc.). Below I have screenshots of both Placester and Zillow maps of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area (AZ). You'll see that Zillow has done a bit of a better job in showing an even distribution of listings across Phoenix. While I realize Zillow is a billion dollar company and Placester is not, I'm still reserving hope that Placester can fix their map of Phoenix to represent listings closer to how they actually are on the map. As a side note, I love Placester. I think it is an awesome tool that does it's job incredibly effectively. I only submit this bug report in hopes of further improving the tool. I'm sure this map problem is no easy task to accomplish, so kudos to whoever is tackling it.
